Rules For Authors

Articles sent for publication must be sent to the Editors in RTF format.
The authors will take care to provide in the mail a telephone number for any communications.
The editorial staff reserves the right to ask the authors for changes and revisions if the works do not meet the characteristics described.
Submitted original works must be accompanied by a letter of request for publication where the author declares that the manuscripts have not already been published nor simultaneously submitted to other journals for publication. It is the responsibility of the authors to obtain written permission to reproduce material that appears in other publications or does not belong to them.
The literary property of the articles is reserved to the Journal and reproduction, even partial, is prohibited.

Preparation of the manuscript

The articles may be in Italian or in English.
Each article will be subjected anonymously to the scrutiny of two experts.
To allow anonymity in the review of the articles, references to the authors and to the structures where they operate should be limited to the first page. In the text and in the bibliography, references to the authors should also be limited to the minimum necessary.
For contributions it is advisable not to exceed 4-5 folders excluding the bibliography, single line spacing, Times New Roman 12 font size; while for interventions in the debate no more than 1-2 folders.

Items must include the following

  1. Front page: title, author(s), related affiliations (no more than 30 characters).
  2. The article must conform to the modality of the specific sections of the journal. Abbreviations are accepted for units of measurement and if the entire expression is initially indicated, for example: “Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD)”. References in the text of the article should be indicated according to APA standards, for example Ekman, 1979; Ekman, Friesen, & Ancoli, 1980. If there are five or more authors with et al. (e.g. Ekman et al., 1983).
  3. Underlining must never be used: if it is necessary to highlight something, it is preferable to use italics.
  4. Tables and figures with related captions will be limited to what is strictly necessary and sent in separate files, with brief but complete titles, progressively numbered with Arabic numerals (keeping tables separate from figures, using the GIF, JPG or TIF format). The approximate point where to insert them must be clearly indicated in the text.
  5. The images must be of high resolution and of a size that allows for good legibility.
  6. The bibliography should be extended in alphabetical order according to the standards of the American Psychological Association (APA).
